Hi, I'm Cecil.

I run Yellow Kite Labs — a one-person studio for essays, small digital products, and quiet experiments. I've spent the last decade-ish building software with teams of various shapes, and the last few learning to do less of it.

This site is the long-form version of that. The shop is where I put things I've made. The essays are where I figure out what I think. The coaching is how I pay for the time to keep doing both.
